Our studio is fully equiped with 6 Shimpo an 2 Junior pottery wheels and all utensils and accesories you may need during your ceramic journey. During this workshop you will learn how to throw, trim and decorate your own pot. Saturday is dedicated to throwing while Sunday we will learn how to trim the bottom of pots on the wheel to achieve nice stand and we will make handles. Also there will be plenty of time to decorate, stamp, carve or colour your pots. We will talk about the process as well as about firing and glazing pottery. Your ceramics will be fired with transparent glaze and ready to take home two weeks after the workshop.

Everything you need is: some working clothes, pair of old boots and old towel. There is a tea, coffee and some sweets at your disposal. During lunch break we can order pizza or you can have lunch on your own in nearby restaurants. Workshop fee includes: all the materials, ceramic literature, coffee, tea and biscuits, firing and experienced teacher ready to answer all your questions.

After the workshop all your pieces will be fired with transparent glaze. If you would like to glaze your pots yourself with coulor glazes, you can attend Friday glazing session 24/6 (three hours) for additonal fee 900kč where you will learn more about glazes and glazing. After the next firing, your pots will be ready for you to take home.

Your place is booked by paying the workshop fee. If you cancel your reservation 5 and more days before workshop (by sending an email to vd.matilda@seznam.cz) , whole sum will be refunded. Later cancelations are 50% of workshop fee.
